This week we learned about innovations educators can utilize in their instruction. Innovative creations belong in the classroom or a training location because technology is here to stay. Students will be required to be tech-literate and will be expected to have the ability, skills, and knowledge competencies of new and improved technology in their work setting.

In my class instruction, I have employed AR apps, AI, interactive textbooks, and HyperDocs, and I hope to use 3D printing, 360 images, and 360 videos soon. Initially, I thought 3D printers were expensive and that I would have to invest in one; after searching and learning about 3D printing, I learned- through Amazon that they can range anywhere from $200.00-$1000.00. Still pricey but not too crazy expensive. After looking into 3D printing, this may be something I would like to promote or integrate into my classroom. I learned that the possibilities to teach with a 3D printer are endless. Having a 3D printer at the school that I teach at would be different, new, and I think students will find it exciting. I plan on learning more about 3D printing because I want one for my classroom. I also plan to look into funding innovations as there are many opportunities to get funds and or grants for technology in education.
