This week I learned about storyboarding. Frankly, I was intimidated by the layout. At first sight, I was overwhelmed and extremely confused. However, as I began clicking on the following links, I started learning more and more, and the history behind storyboarding that my initial thought began fading away gradually. The connection I made with storyboarding that alleviated my confusion was the use of Powerpoint. I have worked with Powerpoints and have created Powerpoints that made the overall experience much more meaningful.
There is no right or wrong way of creating a storyboard. I am not an artist, but I am a visual learner. I think the thought of drawing scared me away from storyboarding.
After analyzing the importance of storyboarding, I have come up with the conclusion of the meaning behind a storyboard. As the author of a storyboard, you must consider the design and the message you want to convey to the audience. Keeping it simple yet, creative, the author can create an essential storyboard.
